Biography
Dr Christoph STEFFEN French and German, Medical Doctor, Public Health Specialist, Policy and project officer in the ICT for Health unit, DG INFSO, European Commission since 2007. Tasked to develop and implement the Commission telemedicine initiative policy and the ICT for Patient safety European Community research programme.
Medical Doctorate and Master of Science Epidemiology (University of Paris) and environment and health (Imperial College London). He worked previously at the World Health Organization as a Medical Officer in the area of epidemic preparedness and response.
