Biography
Chartered architect, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University (1982), 1982 – 1996 worked as a designer at architectural studios, since 1991 also as an independent consultant and civil engineering designer, focusing on barrier-free structures and their modifications.
She devotes herself especially to design work and projects related to barrier-free structures. She also provides assistance to legal entities and individuals in connection with the elimination of architectonic barriers.
Member of the Civic Democratic Party since 1997, since November 2000 until now Senator of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, member of the Senate's Committee for Health Care and Social Policy. Minister of Health since 23 January 2009.
